Our Origin Story: From Passion to Purpose Through Fashion
DabbyBankz was founded by Daberechi Elechi, an engineer-turned-designer who began creating bold, expressive clothing while studying engineering at Rivers State University, Nigeria. What started as custom pieces for students and local clients grew into a full-fledged creative journey — leading to the birth of DabbyBankz.
Driven by a passion for design, cultural expression, and empowerment, Daberechi transitioned from the oil and gas industry to fashion — a courageous move that has inspired many young African creatives to follow their true calling.
